We have been working with employers and parents to shape The Five Hour Workday to help parents navigate work between school runs.
Our aim is to help create a transparent working relationship between our family-friendly employers and parents, so that everyone can be successful.
A Five Hour Workday is:
- A job that enables parents to work five hours between school hours for up to 5 days a week
- A career that values parents previous experience, qualifications and skills
- A permanent or contract role within the company, which would include professional development and opportunities for growth
- Minimum of pro-rata salary based on the market rate for the full-time role
- Benefits that consider childcare needs where possible
Each job listing will be verified by Five Hour Club based on the criteria below, before going live on the job board.
